Robert Bruce Forrest, 58, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 5, 2025, in his hometown. Born on September 26, 1967, in Philadelphia, Robert spent his entire life in the city he loved and served with unwavering dedication.

For four decades, Robert worked at Tastykake, beginning as a young man and steadily rising through the ranks to become a respected supervisor. His journey through many departments was marked not only by hard work and perseverance but also by the warmth and kindness he extended to everyone he met. Known for his ever-present smile and genuine care for others, Robert treated every colleague—regardless of title or background—with equal respect. He was truly a people person whose presence brought comfort and joy to those around him.

Roland J. Stucke

Roland J. Stucke, a loving, kind, and generous soul who could turn even an ordinary afternoon into a treasured memory, passed away on November 28, 2025, in Camden, NJ. at the age of 66. Born on January 11, 1959, he was the son of the late Roland J. and Harriet Stucke and grew up in a family where loyalty, laughter, and a strong sense of togetherness were simply the way of life.

For 34 years, Roland proudly served as a correctional officer, a career that required strength, patience, and a steady sense of humor—all qualities he carried in abundance. He approached his work with quiet dedication and resilience, then came home and poured that same steady heart into the people he loved most.

Linda F. Stevenson (Foster)

Linda F. Stevenson, born on November 10, 1951, in Philadelphia, PA, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on November 27, 2025. A loving, faith-filled, and intelligent woman, Linda’s life was a testimony of her devotion to God, her family, and her church.

Linda was the daughter of the late Sara and Horace Foster. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill J. Stevenson, and her sister, Bonnie. Though she has left this earthly home, her faith assures those who loved her that she is now at peace and rejoicing in heaven.

Esther M. Talarchek (Wilkes)

Esther M. Talarchek (nee Wilkes) formerly of Mayfair passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Wesley Enhanced Living at Pennypack. Esther was the beloved wife of the late Chester M. Talarchek, devoted Mother of Gary Talarchek and Wayne Talarchek; loving grandmother of Jacqueline and Justin; great grandmother of Christopher and Emily.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Esther's viewing at 9:15am-10:15am on Thursday, December 4th, 2025 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church located at 3000 Cottman Ave. Phila., PA 19149 followed by her Mass of Christian Burial. Rite of Committal will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the St. Matthew Sanctuary Fund at the above address.

Delores Scott (Houck)

Delores passed peacefully on Monday, November 24th.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert, and her children, Deborah Darroyo of Philadelphia and Karen (Robert) Thomas of Cherry Hill, New Jersey. She is also survived by her grandchildren—John (Jaclyn), Kelsey, Steven (Angela), Joseph, RJ, and Kevin—and her great-grandchildren, Carter and Maeve. Delores will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Delores has been reunited with her beloved daughter, Donna.

She was predeceased by her parents, Mathias and Margaret Houck, her brother, James, and her sister, Anna Jessel.

Chris was known for his humor, generous spirit, and unwavering dedication to his family. He had an undeniable presence—someone who could light up a room with his humor and wit. Those who knew him will remember his storytelling ability and his kindness.

Lucy and Ella Heinold

Lucille Rose Heinold "Lucy" passed away on November 8, 2025 at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Eleanor Frances Heinold "Ella" passed away on January 29, 2024 at Pennsylvania Hospital. Lucy and Ella fought so hard before they were lovingly taken from our arms into the arms of their great grandparents and delivered into heaven and God’s embrace.

Ella and Lucy were born at Doylestown Hospital on January 25, 2024 to Kevin and Tara Heinold, joining sibling Olivia. The deep love and impact made by our tiny mighty fighters will never fade from our hearts and the hearts of all who loved them.  They are at peace and together again. We are deeply grateful for each second we had as their parents here on earth.

Margaret E. Dillon

Margaret E. Dillion, a pioneering figure recognized for her intelligence, kindness, and love for others, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025. Born on October 26, 1926, she was the beloved wife of the late William Dillon. Margaret lived a life marked by excellence, compassion, and professional achievement. Her legacy continues through the lives she touched and the honor she brought to her community and beyond.

Over the course of a remarkable life, Margaret was honored in numerous respected publications including, Who's Who in American Women, The World's Who's Who of Women. The Directory of International Biography of Who's Who. Her many accomplishments were further acknowledged through awards such as the Notable American Award from the American Biographical Institute and The AMITA Award for Advertising Women of the Year, which highlights significant contributions made by Italian-American women.

Ellen M. Bauder

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ellen M. Bauder, a beloved matriarch, devoted wife, and cherished member of the Castor Gardens community. Ellen departed this life surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy of thoughtfulness, wisdom, and unconditional love. She was the heart of her family, a guiding light through the years, and a steadfast presence in the lives of all who knew her.

The beloved wife of John Bauder, Ellen was a nurturing and devoted mother to Sherre A. Knable (Mitchell), John F. Jr. (Mary), Michael C. (Tiff Bashwinger), and Carl E. (Joann) Bauder. She was a treasured sister to Elwood, Timothy, James, Thomas, and Michael, and a loving grandmother to Brittany (Tom), Kyle, Paige, Meaghan (Ron), Amber, Grace, and Jimmy. Her joy extended to her great-grandchildren, Naomi and Milo, who brought her immense happiness and pride.

Debra Werschek, a resident of Philadelphia, passed away October 12, 2025, at the age of 65. She is proceeded in death by her father Harry Werschek, step mother Thomasona “Tommie” Werschek; her step father Edward Novotny. She is survived by her son Michael (Nicole) Werschek, grandson Carter, her mother Diana Novotny (Newman) her sisters Joanne (René) Braeckman, Louann, Lisa (Dan) Jalosinski, as well many nieces and nephews.
