Of Mayfair passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the age of 38. Devoted son of Robert "Bob" and Geraldine "Gerry" (nee Lydon) Reick. Devoted brother of Ann Reick, Maureen Tankelewicz (Tom) and Kathy Quinn (Tim). Loving uncle of Thomas, Justin, Siobhan, Ryan, Brendan, Emma, Maura, Molly, Keira, Lauren and Claire. Also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins and longtime friends.

John was a graduate of Father Judge High School Class of 2000 and a proud member of IBEW Local # 98.

HELEN M. SOPCZYNSKI
of Pennypack Circle left this world on Sunday, November 24,2019 to be with her husband and parents at the age of 94.
Helen was the daughter of the late Frank and the late Anna Koszyk, born in 1925, in Philadelphia, PA
She married Frank, "Big Frank" and together they had their son, :Frankie".

She worked in a variety of Federal goverment jobs during her life, including at the Internal Revenue Service, and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

She was an avid gardener. She also enjoyed fashion, decorating for the holidays, and sharing Polish foods.
She is survived by her son Frank, her daughter- in- law Joan and two grandchildren, Frank and John.

Thomas C. Flora Jr. “Tom” of Mayfair passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the age of 33.

Beloved husband of Crystal M. Flora (nee Hoppe). Devoted son of the Deborah Flora (nee Lasota) and Thomas C. Flora Sr. (Jillian). Loving father of Anthony Flora, step father of Taylor Colmeaur and Gabriella Mennona. Dear brother of Jennifer Funk (Brian). Grandson of Jane Lesher. Cherished uncle of Arianna and Aliyah Funk; also survived by his aunts, uncles and cousins.

Thomas F. Ewing, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Fox Chase Cancer Center surrounded by his loving family at the age of 57.

Beloved husband of Clare M. (nee Ferry) Ewing. Devoted son of Joan M. (nee McGovern) Ewing and the late Vincent J. Ewing. Loving father of Amy, Christopher and the late Thomas. Dear Pop of Dominick. Brother of James Ewing (Pam), Peggy Monahan (Mark), Anita Riches (John) and Mary Wark (Jim); also survived by many nieces and nephews.

His name is Thomas Francis Ewing, but you can call him Tom. He was born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia with four of his younger siblings and two loving parents. His siblings all had nicknames for each other as kids and since he was blessed with large Irish ears, his nickname was “Ears”. His childhood was filled with fun and laughter. Tom was a real ladies man in his teen years. He also became responsible for taking care of his family, at the young age of 21, when his dad passed away.

Bernard A. Scarcia, "Benny" of Northeast Philadelphia passed away suddenly on Monday, November 11, 2019 at Jefferson Frankford Hospital at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Sharon Scarcia (nee Sibilla) and the late Victoria J. Scarcia (nee Sauer). Devoted father of Darlene McGovern (David), Tina Widmann (Dave), Donna Forrester (Gary), Anthony Scarcia (Kelly) and step father of Scott Nagle (Debbie). Loving Pop of Rachel, Lauren, David, Hailey, Gavin, Dalton, Mason, Nathan, Victoria, Lucianna, Ava and Kaylee. Step brother of Vera Matlack, Dominic Ragazzone, Salvatore Ragazzone, Mario Ragazzone, Luigi Ragazzone and the late Pasqualina Muto and the late Vincenzo Ragazzone. Brother in law of Tom Sibilla, John Sauer (Donna), Henry Sauer (Debbie) and the late William Sauer (Claudia); also survived by his nieces and nephews.

As everyone knows, Benny loved many things in life. Food, cars (especially corvettes), Doo-Wop Music, Philadelphia Sports Teams, fishing at the lake, caring for his lawn and garden, but most of all, his family. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. Everyone who met him, loved him. Benny was such a sensitive man, that he was often moved to tears while watching commercials. As the commercial ended, he would say "I enjoyed that." And that is how he lived his life, enjoying it to the fullest.

Beloved brother of Mary Fiocca (the late Thomas). Devoted uncle of Bernadette McCutcheon (James); great uncle of Melanie and Trevor.

Edward V. Kelly, Sr.

Edward V. Kelly, Sr. of Philadelphia PA. He served in the U.S. Navy for over 10 years and was a decorated Korean War Veteran. He passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the Philadelphia Protestant Home after a long illness at the age of 89.

Beloved husband of Dorothy R. (nee Moritz) Devoted father of Karen Mangold (Larry), Edward Jr., (Peggy) Timothy (Maryann), Mark (Barbara) and Brian (Lori).
