Camila Veloso

Camila Veloso, 88 years old, passed away on Wednesday May 20,2020 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Camila was born on September 27, 1931 in Buenos Aires, Argentina to Manuel M. Soto and Sinda Mendez Soto. She was the eldest sibling to Sinda Soto Lojo, Hector Soto, and Osvaldo Soto.

Prior to immigrating to United States from Argentina, Camila married Roberto Veloso and remained married for 69 years.

Upon arriving to the United States in 1968, Camila made a home for herself in Philadelphia where she would live the remainder of her life. She was first and foremost a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was also an integral part of growing the family owned business as a seamstress. On her time off, Camila enjoyed traveling, cooking for her family, watching soccer and shopping.

Camila is survived by Emilce M. Naveiro, daughter, Daniel Naveiro, Grandson, David Naveiro, Grandson, Alex Naveiro, Grandson, Christian Naveiro, Great Grandson, and Sophia Naveiro, Great Grand Daughter.

Private Funeral Services, for the immediate family only, will be held at 10am on Friday May 29,2020 at St. Christopher’s Church and will be ministered by Fr. Frank Berna.

Additional memorial service and wake will be announced on a date TBD.

 

 

Camila Veloso, de 88 años, falleció el miércoles 20 de mayo del 2020 en Filadelfia, Pensilvania.

Los servicios funerarios, se realizarán solo para la familia inmediata, se llevarán a cabo a las 10 am el viernes 29 de mayo del 2020 en la Iglesia de San Cristóbal y serán administrados por el Padre. Frank Berna

Camila nació el 27 de septiembre de 1931 en Buenos Aires, Argentina, hija de Manuel M. Soto y Sinda Méndez Soto. Ella era la hermana mayor de Sinda Soto Lojo, Héctor Soto y Osvaldo Soto.

Antes de emigrar a los Estados Unidos desde Argentina, Camila se casó con Roberto Veloso y permaneció casada durante 69 años.

Al llegar a los Estados Unidos en 1968, Camila formó un hogar en Filadelfia, donde vivió el resto de su vida.

Ella era ante todo una esposa, madre y abuela ejemplar.También fue parte primordial del crecimiento del negocio familiar como costurera. En su tiempo libre, Camila disfrutaba viajar, cocinar para su familia, mirar fútbol y hacer compras.

Sus familiares Emilce M. Naveiro, hija, Daniel Naveiro,  David Naveiro, Alex Naveiro, nietos, Christian Naveiro, y Sophia Naveiro, bisnietos.

Una misa y luncheon estar organizado en el futuro para poder celebrar la vida de Camila con toda la familia y amistades.
