Betty Rubin (nee Carroll), of Northeast Philadelphia, passed away surrounded by her family on November 15, 2018, at the age of 90.

Beloved wife of the late Harry Rubin. Devoted mother of Charles (Doreen) and the late Michael. Loving grandmother of Daniel and Amy. Dear sister of Vincent Carroll, Joseph Carroll and Hope Hamilton and the late Tom Carroll, Jean McDevitt and Jack Carroll. Cherished daughter of the late John and Margaret Carroll. She attended St. Ambrose (Class of ’43) and Little Flower High School (Class of ’47). Betty loved to travel and enjoyed summers in Ocean City, New Jersey. She had a wonderful sense of humor and never missed a chance to spoil her grandchildren.

Margalie Estriplet Therlonges, daughter of the late father Emilio Estriplet and mother Lourdes Ada Estriplet, was born on March 6, 1959 in the southeastern town of Belle-Anse, Haiti.

Maggie attended elementary school in Belle-Anse, then she moved to the capital city Port-au-Prince, where she attended an all-girl primary school: Les soeurs de la sagesse in Petion-Ville and College Vaval in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Later on in November of the year 1977, Maggie traveled to the United States.
