Raymond Hofmann, of Philadelphia, the beloved husband, of 73 years, to Mary Ellen (Dugan) Hofmann, passed away of February 22, 2024, at the age of 94.
Raymond loved his job as a train car builder at the Budd Company, where he worked for 37 years. He was always quick to lend a helping hand to everyone he knew. He would enjoy a trip to the casino or just a long walk on the Atlantic City Boardwalk.
Raymond, a devoted father to James Hofmann, Margaret (Peggy) Elsekheily and Joseph Hofmann. Raymond was predeceased by his four sons, Raymond, Jr., George , Thomas, Michael Hofmann and his brothers Conrad, William Hofmann and his sister Rosanne Donahue.
He is survived by his grandchildren Kelly (Dan) Klepas, Patrick (Mandy) Hayes and his great grandchildren, Alex Hayes, Henry Hayes, Jack Hayes, Jocelyn Klepas and Rylie Klepas.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Presentation BVM Catholic Church, 100 Old Soldiers Road, Cheltenham, PA. 19012 followed by his Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am. Interment will take place on a later date.
