Everett Harold Bickings

Our beloved Everett Harold Bickings departed this life Wednesday, October 18, 2023. He was born March 25, 2010 to parents Craig and Bernice Bickings. Everett’s life, though brief, was impactful. He was the personification of childlike faith and good nature. He had a pure heart, a creative mind, and a gentle spirit.

He highly valued family time in any form – vacations, movie nights, outings. His heroes were his parents; he cherished and admired his dad and adored no one more than his mom. He had a strong connection to his five older brothers. Everett had a fun sense of humor and loved to goof around with them; anyone could see that he saw each of his brothers as a role model. Everett was the constant companion to his younger sister. He was protective, and the two of them enjoyed many of the same games, activities, and entertainment. To Everett, his friends were just like family. He was a devoted and loyal friend. Many memories will be left of get-togethers, games, and outings with his buddies.

Everett had many varied interests. He loved playing games. He often played video games like Minecraft and Roblox with his friends and he loved playing board games and card games with his family. He liked Pokémon and had a small collection of the playing cards. He was in the middle of reading his book series, “Five Nights at Freddy’s”. Everett had a sketchbook and enjoyed drawing with pencils and markers. He also assembled several car Lego sets, which combined two more of his interests – cars and Legos – into one project. Everett was a bright student and worked diligently at school. He was also a devoted Christian and always gave testimonies to encourage others. He had a natural way with children, who adored playing with him. In fact, Everett had a natural way of getting along with anybody, and he made many connections because of this.
