Mary C. Toth (Salvino) passed away peacefully on July 17, 2024 surrounded by her family. Mary’s family was blessed to have her for 94 wonderful years. She is survived by her loving husband Steven whom she was devoted to for over 62 years.
She is the loving mother of Marisa Kilman (Robert) and Nancy Minich (William). She was the proud and loving Mom-mom of her 4 grandchildren: Lauren-Michele, Brittany, Madeline Foster (Andrew), & Christian. She was great grandmother (Nonna) to her 5 great grandchildren: Aubrey, Avery, Charles, Hadley, and Harlow.
Mary was a loving, generous and hands-on grand-mom. It was her privilege to celebrate and witness all of her grandchildren’s milestones, from graduations to weddings to the birth of her great grandchildren. In her later years, her greatest joy was spending time with her great grandchildren. She welcomed them in her arms or on her lap. She lit up every time she saw them. She loved watching them grow. Mary spoke frequently about her nieces and nephews who she considered her own children. They too were always in her heart. She loved her family and Italian traditions.
Mary was an avid fan of the Phillies watching every game and cheering on her team. She loved Music and dancing. Mary and Steve spent many parties and events dancing to the music of the big bands and old time crooners. They were the Fred and Ginger of the Salvino Family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mary's visitation on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 9:15-10:15AM at St. Matthew's Catholic Church 3000 Cottman Ave Phila. 19149. Where her Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30AM. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
