Brian D. Batson of Philadelphia, passed away on July 11, 2024 , at the age of 54.
Loving son of Rosalie and Alan Batson of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Caring brother of Alan Batson. Brian was the devoted life partner of Marcey Canilichio.
Brian spent many nights practicng on his guitar and was an accomplished self taught guitar player and song writer. He played with and was a proud member
of the local bands Abolish, Deadbolt and See4. Brian was at his best when he had his guitar in his hands and was trying to form two new bands of his own, Suns of Asylum and Crowfoot.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation, Friday, July 26, 2024 6-8 pm at John F. Fluehr and Sons Funeral Home 3301 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19149, where his memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm.
