Daniel Mark MacMurray passed away the morning of September 12, 2023 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. Daniel was the son of Dorothy Nottingham and Ronald Francis MacMurray. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy, his wife, Cynthia Alvarez, his son, Shane, his daughter, Kelsi, his step-daughter, Isabela, and many lifelong friends.
Daniel was the life of the party, a hardworking, gentle, generous and wonderful soul. Daniel was a loving son, husband and father. Daniel was a proud North Catholic High School Class of ‘81 alum, a United States Marine Corps Veteran and an honored and esteemed member of the Philadelphia Fire Department for 35 years.
Relatives, friends and members of Local 22 are invited to attend Daniel’s Celebration of Life on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 10:30 am with visitation from 9-10:30 am at John F. Fluehr and Sons Funeral Home, 3301 Cottman Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19149. Daniel's Internment with Military Honors begins promptly at 1pm on November 9, 2023 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA 18940. All are welcome.
