John F. Marks

John F. Marks (affectionately called “Son” by family) passed away peacefully on August 5, 2023 at the age of 92 at Cambridge Rehab and Healthcare in Moorestown, NJ. Son of John and Gertrude (nee Walz), survived by sister Marie and nieces Maggie and Mary. Great niece Sara and her family.

John was a devout Catholic. He attended St Joseph’s Prep and graduated from LaSalle. Briefly served in the Army during the Korean War. Worked at Philadelphia Life Insurance Co and Episcopal Community Services.

Family wishes to thank the staff at Cambridge Rehab and HealthCare and Vitality Hospice and Palliative both for their care and support. Additionally wish to thank the staff at Rothkoff Law Group for their help and support.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend John’s Mass of Christian Burial August 10, 2023 At 11:00 AM located at St. Matthew Church 3000 Cottman Ave Philadelphia PA 19149. A visitation will be held 10:30-11:00 AM. Interment Private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
