Joanne R. Schwartz (nee Delaney) of Middleton, Massachusetts, and formerly of Mayfair, Philadelphia, PA where she was a member of St. Matthew Parish for 87 years, passed peacefully on July 4, 2023.
Joanne was the beloved wife of Thomas J. Schwartz for 61 years and the loving mother of Mary Zarrella, M.D. (James) of Danvers, MA, Joanne Schwartz, Ph.D. of Middleton, MA, and the late Thomas J. Jr. (Heather). Joanne will be sadly missed by her sister, Sr. Maria Paula Delaney, I.H.M., her grandchildren, Ices (Joshua), Brandon, and Connor Schwartz, Julianne Zarrella, and her many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Joanne’s Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, July 14,10:30 a.m. located at St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church, 3000 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19149 where visitation will take place from 9:15-10:15 a.m. Interment will be at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
