Craig W. Bickings, Jr On April 13, 2023, with his family by his side, Craig departed from this life at the age of 50.
Craig, the loving husband of Bernice E. Bickings (nee Goodyear), was the devoted father of Craig III, Nigel, Kolby (Hannah Foster), Dimitri, Quentin, Everett, and Natasha. He was the beloved son of the late Craig Sr. and the late Roberta Bickings and the dear brother of Robin Lucas (Scott), Jason, Roy, Bryan, Debby Troutman, Kevin (Audrey), Robert (Kym), and Harold Wesley. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Craig was the consummate family man - a devoted husband and father and a beloved uncle and friend. His love for his family was not limited to blood relation but shown out to all those around him. During family vacations, he often could combine his love for his family with his passion for fishing. From sun-up to sun-down, he could be seen on the beach with a rod in his hand, content in the company of his loved ones and the ocean.
Craig was a self-made man who never shied away from hard work. After many professions, he found his calling as an electrician. Within five years of dedicated work and determination, Craig graduated from apprentice to Master Electrician. His business grew from a single-man into a multi-employee operation.
Whether it was in the home, in the workshop, or behind the pulpit, Craig led his life as an example to everyone around him. He was a living testimony of steadfast faith and of the power of God's grace. Through it all, he remained humble and selfless, never hesitant to lend a hand or a listening ear to another in need.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Craig's viewing on Thursday, April 20th from 6pm-8pm and again on Friday, April 21st from 9am-11:30am at John F. Fluehr and Sons Funeral Home located at 3301 Cottman Ave Phila. PA. 19149. Craig's service will be held immediately following his viewing on Friday. The interment will take place at North Cedar Hill Cemetery.
