Catherine Gaffney (nee Sachs), 100, born on January 28, 1921, longtime resident of Mayfair, and North Haven, Connecticut passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021.
Catherine was predeceased by her husband William Gaffney. She was a loving mother to her 3 daughters Maureen Johnstone (Late Bill), Kathleen Cahill (Tom), Elaine Schaeffer (Ed); Mom-mom to Bill Johnstone (Jen), Mike Johnstone (Sara), Kelli Johnstone; Jen Rutkowski (Don); Ed and Tim Schaeffer (Paula). Catherine was a proud great mom-mom to Julianne, Jaclyn, Emma, Luke, Ben, Will, Sophia, and Donnie. Sister to the Late John Sachs (Late Phyllis) and Patricia McCloskey (Late Emmet).
Services for Catherine Gaffney will be held privately by her family.
